ANZAC Day Parade

The Club was represented by Joyce Stephenson & Don Tesoriero at the ANZAC Day Remembrance Service, Birkenhead War Memorial Hall. A wreath from the Club was laid and respects paid to those who have served past and present. Short addresses were received from Kay McIntyre, Kaipatiki Ward Chairperson, and from Jonathan Coleman MP and Minster of Health. The service bought a large attendance of young and not so young out on a bright but chilly morning to honour the occasion which included a large contingent of ex- servicemen and some who still serve their country. A fitting tribute to all of them.
