Hospice Tournament - Milford Club

A Beach Haven team took 4th Place at the Hospice Tournament run by Milford Club in the afternoon of 25th April. The Club entered 4 teams this year which was a great turnout as we have been strong supporters of this well run and very worthy event for the past few years and has been on the podium on previous occasions. Pam Bostock, Eileen and Richard Ponting played steadily all afternoon and were unlucky not to finish further up the ladder. Milford Club are an extremely hospitable Club and even arranged for us to have our usual place in the Club Room now beginning to be known as Beach Haven Corner. Beach Haven also managed to snaffle a few of the many raffle prizes just to finish off a great day. Many thanks and well done Milford Bowling Club!!
