Waipapa Bowl Tournament Played in Dry Conditions!!

For the first time this season we have had an uninterrupted Saturday Tournament, the only disappointment being that it was on a long weekend with the lower participation usually occurring on such days. Despite that we had a great day in constant sunshine playing on a superb green and with some good bowls being delivered as well. The eventual winners, Karl Glenn/Ray Anderson/Eileen Ponting, won with an unblemished record of 3 wins from 3 games. Their success was celebrated in the usual fashion with a very pleasant hour or so in the Club House watching North Harbour beat Wellington in the semi-final of the ITM Cup. What a great day for North Harbour Sport!!
